Unsatisfactory RV sewer hose

Inside diameter is too small to fit over a standard 3” sewer fitting. Also, after being stretched out to the manufacturer’s stated 20 feet length, the sewer hose does not accordion back to a shorter length for storage.

Bought this for extension to what we have already. Unfortunately not long enough for our use . Trying to return it but due to the box being a little damaged Belleville CT won’t accept it. It was not even open or used ! Just box a little damaged die to water .

Q: Would it work in winter? Can the hose freeze and not crack?

A: The product will not crack down up to -20F (-28C) temperatures.
