Latex fortified, Speed-Patch provides a long lasting durable repair for small holes and cracks (up to 3 inches wide and 3 inches deep). Speed-Patch dries black to match existing asphalt pavements.

Can easily patch holes or cracks in your driveway. Smooths easily giving it a professional look. Nice and black when it dries. You can do it yourself instead of hiring contractors who won't bother filling your many driveway imperfections.

Have used it many times. When product has very little liquid on top it takes a lot of mixing. When sufficient liquid is available it is easy to use. Should allow check in store

Q: It says "Trowel Grade" - can I use a roller to apply it?

A: The resurfacer seems too thick to apply with a roller. A trowel seems to be the best way to spread the material and press it into the surface. A putty knife would do a good job for cracks. For larger areas you could use a large squeegee to spread resurfacer, as is shown by Ron Hazelton in his video at http://www.ronhazelton.com/projects/how_to_resurface_a_driveway

Q: After applying the driveway resurfacer, how long does a person have to wait before applying driveway sealer over top?

A: The manufacturer data sheet says to "allow a minimum of 48 hours or until hard before sealing". I waited about a week and got good results with two coats of sealer.

Q: Can you add sand to this to make it thicker? I find it is too much like pudding, and is fine in a very thin trowelled application, but cracks if only 1/4" thick. Sand might also increase its total coverage area.

Q: I wish to redirect the drainage over an area of 24 ft² on an existing driveway. New layer of asphalt will vary from 1" thick to almost a feather edge. Granular material should be as small as possible and not self levelling. Which products to use?

Q: When I opened the bucket, I found it was too dry, what can I use to thin it? water or oil? Or some kind of solvent? t'hanks!

A: It is not recommended to alter the product because it will void warranty. If after trying to mix the product, it is still dry, you can exchange it for a new bucket.

A: Applied at 6mm (1/4"), normal dry time is 24 hours at 10°C (50°F). Lower temperatured, high humidity or thicker applications will seriously extend dry times.
