A nice addition

Added this to my Jeep TJ, which has 4" in front & 6.5" in the sound bar (all Pioneer), and am more than satisfied by both the power of the bass and the broad range of sound that the system now puts out. All this out of a basic JVC deck. Sure, it won't satisfy a true audiophile but it makes a real nice package for the average person. Installation was easy too.

Decent bass for a decent price!

Just got this today, it was really easy to plug in.. has these special little wire tappers that you screw right into the headunit wires. No wire cutting to do what so ever. The thing that was longest to do, was pass the wiring from the front to the back.
Another fun thing, the sub is easy to remove and has a quick connect behind it, so its gone in under 5 minutes. No amp left behind either.
As for the sound, it was good. I have this installed in a 2003 Toyota Corolla Sedan. It's nothing to loud, the volume knob on the sub is all the way up. Subwoofer bass on the headunit is also maxed. I mean it is only 50watts after all :)

Je viens d'installer ce bazooka dans mon CR-V et il ajoute exactement ce qu'il manquait au son. Ajusté à la moitier de sa puissance il donne de très bonnes basses avec une réponse instantannée. Pour le prix, je dois dire que je suis très satisfais de mon achat et je le recommande.

"A great sound with a tiny package"

I purchased this Bazooka sub for my 2003 "NISSAN SENTRA" 4-door to make the factory stereo system complete. The bass from this subwoofer has enriched the sound and even the quality of the treble is enhanced in the sound system. I would say that the bass effect is more than enough to get the windows vibrating. Another benefit of this subwoofer is that it is relatively tiny compare to others; you will save a lot of free space in your car trunk. Additionally, it has the amplifier integrated into the enclosure so that you don’t have to buy a one separately.
Overall, it is a great sound with a tiny package. I am very happy with my purchase.

Q: would i need a new stereo deck? i have a 2002 chevy tracker. Or would it be able to get hooked right into the factory deck? thanks

A: It comes with a system which easily taps into any wire harness. As long as you have left and right positive and negative speaker feeds (4 wires) it will work. You also need to connect +12V power (battery), ground and an accessory (ignition) or electric antenna feed (+12V) to turn it on.

Q: Does it have a control switch? Hi: I wonder if there is a control switch which alows to turn the bass on and off? For example, if I am listening to the news only, I would not want to have the bazooka bass on. Thanks!

A: No control switch included but you could put a switch on the accessory feed that turns it on. You have to provide +12V to power the unit and a second +12V from either an accessory switch (ie. ignition) or electric antenna to activate it. You could install a switch in this line to control it.
