Q: I bought the helmet last year and now need the cage. Do you know what cage is needed and where to get it? I don't need the combo or a new helmet. I just need the cage.

A: You cannot safely attach a cage to this helmet. See my review below. There are no screws/holes to properly secure the cage on the sides.

A: It will depend on the size of your child's head. Please visit your local Canadian Tire store. The helmet should be tried on for best fit.

A: The Bauer helmet is not CSA certified to the Bicycle Helmet Standard and is only recommended for use in Hockey.

A: The helmet is CSA approved as a multi impact helmet, not specific to hockey. However, it is not tested specifically as a downhill ski helmet either, nor is it insulated as most ski helmets would be.
