They do the job but look cheap

Very thin gauge metal. The screw holes should be countersunk or recessed as the screw heads stand above the cover surface showing obvious bumps.

Needed to cover a box for a fixture that I'll buy later but the hole in the plaster ceiling was too rough for a smaller size cover. This did the trick perfectly and hid the imperfections.

Q: What is the length between the two screw holes?

A: The distance between the two holes on the plain canopy, LA617, is 3 7/16". This is from the centre of one hole to the centre of the second holes.
