Lasted only 2 years. Compressor runs fans runs but do not get cold enough to draw out the moisture from the air. Seems like the Freon is to low. Will not buy again.

This is at times so noisy, could hear it in my bedroom on the 1st floor, from the basement at night. It has leaked for the last year or so. I have always kept it in a tray, so now I have 1ltr leaking out twice a day into said tray, thank goodness it’s not the summertime. I NEVER found a way to drain it via a hose that worked (and also the place where you put the hose is directly above the power cable?!?, so there is that.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Got this to take out excess moisture in the basement during spring and heavy rains. Worked well but died after only 2.5 years, Compressor doesn't shut off and fan doesn't turn on. Another big piece of garbage for the dump.

I bought this a month ago when it was on sale for a great price. It's been working wonderfully. The basement is nice and dry, which makes a huge difference! Not sure about the drain hose attachment... it didn't come with one included. Other than that, definitely recommend!

Q: How do I adjust humidity level? How do I adjust humidity level or it is fully automatic? I just got the unit yesterday and it doesn't do anything when I press the '+' or '-' buttons. It seems that the '+' or '-' buttons are only for timer. Am I right? Thanks.

A: I had the same question but I've figured it out. You can't see a humidity setting when the unit is in "Continuous" mode. Since the unit defaults to "Continuous" this is a problem because pressing the +and - buttons shows nothing on the display. Press the "Continue Pad" (button 1) to turn of that function. This puts the unit in the auto shut-off mode and you will now be able to see and adjust your settings in the display. It works perfectly but is poorly explained in the manual.
