The capacity of two bags is true but you’re best to do one bag a time and mix faster depending on job size. If you pour a pad you will have to put mixer in the middle since tub is short it doesn’t dump away from mixer. Assembly was easy so is a great little mixer to share with friends for small jobs

I bought to mix 35 bags of concrete
Did the job better than i expected for a 1.5a motor but don't expect to be using it to dump directly into a wheelbarrow without building a platform or somehow raising it up. The drum is a little off round but it still worked.

Absolute waste of time and money.

This product is an absolute joke. A child's toy at best.
I bought it specifically for a small job, thinking I would save a bit of time and energy vs. mixing in a wheelbarrow. WRONG. This unit can barely handle HALF A BAG of concrete. At a full bag the belt starts to slip and the drum barely turns. The thing broke after 2 pours.
After removing the plastic motor cover to my absolute astonishment I discovered the PLASTIC MOTOR MOUNTS where broken. The electrical cord had also not been secured or routed properly and began to rub on the fan blade (also plastic).
What a piece of garbage! The absolute icing on the cake is when you try to return it at the store, original packaging and original receipt in hand they try and deny you claiming you have to deal with the manufacture. ha! What a clown show.
At the end of the day this poorly designed worthless apparatus totally ruined my entire week. I ended up taking more than twice as long to finish the job and then wasted another day arguing with the store staff to get my money back.

A: Update to my previous answer: After mixing twenty-eight 30kg bags of Quikrete concrete, I can say definitely that one 30kg bag and its required water is the capacity limit for this 46 liter unit. This amount of material allows a choice of tilt positions for the drum while avoiding spills during mixing. The bigger concern, however, is not the actual volume of material in the drum, but rather the strain of turning the drum which can cause the drive belt to come off its pulleys (see my review).

Q: Forgetting the 37 ltr message, how many of "standard" bags of concrete does it mix? Can I simply add one full bag to the water? Or do I need to scale down on the standard sized bags I get (30kg/66lb). Many have asked. 1 bag? 1/2? Please keep it simple.

Q: Is the a duration limit for operation? Can I run it for consecutively for 2-3 hours ? Can I run it for 5 hours consecutively? I only intend to use it for tumbling glass, so the weight limit will be much less than 47 kg.

A: Recommended consecutive work time is 2 hours. Best mixing capacity for this machine is 30-37L and less than 47kgs. We have no experience for using this machine to tumble glass, but it should be ok if the capacity of glass is within the recommended capacity.

Q: Under "Maintenance" the manual says to add a drop of grease to the spindle. Exactly where and how often does the drop of grease need to be added?

A: The spindle refers to the shaft at the bottom of the drum. There is no need for customers to take apart the parts to maintain the shaft with grease as the factory already added the grease during mass production.
