Product Details

The Pirelli Sottozero 3 Winter Tire is engineered to grip snowy roads. The tire features a directional tread pattern that increases its overall traction with more blocks contacting the road. An optimized winter compound maintains consistent grip across a wide temperature range, so you get reliable handling in all winter conditions. With stylish alloy wheels to complete the look, the Sottozero 3 delivers serious snow performance with panache. The tread's arrow design and winter compound team up to stick to snowy surfaces, ensuring full control when roads get slick. This tire's exceptional winter grip will keep you moving in the harshest weather winter has to offer.

Snow Peak Rated

The 3 Peak Mountain Snowflake symbol indicates the tire is rated for Severe Snow Service. This is the acceptable standard for winter driving in Canada and provides improved safety on snow and ice.

Mud And Snow Rated

The M+S symbol differentiates an All-Season tire from a Summer only tire. While rated for light snow, they will not match a winter tire for traction or stopping distance on snow and ice.

  • The Pirelli Winter Sottozero 3 Tire is Pirelli's newest Sottozero performance winter tire developed for high performance vehicles

  • The directional double arrow pattern design increases the number of blocks which provide a higher traction in snowy conditions

  • The optimized compound provides a consistent grip throughout a wider working temperature range that provides better grip in all winter weather conditions

  • Wheels sold separately

    Good EV winter tires

This is my second set on my Tesla Model 3—they are great. Burned through the last set in 30k, so adjust your expectations if driving an EV and like accelerating hard off the line

It has a less friction on the road, helping with fuel consumption. However, it will last you a single winter.

great traction during winter, no problems with them, but they lasted me only 1.5 winter seasons and were almost bald after less than 10,000kms.

    Questions

    1 - 3 of 3 Questions

Q: Can you please provide the details from the TEST from Canadian Tire? What is the rating or how does it compare to the Michelin X-ice Snow ?

    1 Answer
    • A: The Pirelli Winter Sottozero 3 is a tire that we have not tested yet. Technically, the Pirelli Winter Sottozero 3 is a ‘performance winter’ tire that would balance performance in snow and ice conditions with performance on wet or dry roads in colder temperatures. The X-Ice Snow is designed to be the best tire for ice and snow conditions. However, Pirelli and Michelin are both top tire brands that focus on performance you can trust.
