How can I tell if a fuse is blown?

When your car’s fuse is blown, there are some minor issues that you’ll notice in your car as an indicator. Your vehicle’s lights might not start, and you might not be able to use your air conditioner or heater in your car. Other features of your car may have some difficulty operating, like the radio or turn signal. Eventually, it can affect your car starting.

How do I test a fuse with a multimeter?

Switch on the multimeter and connect the test probes to either end of the fuse metal coverings. If the reading is at a low resistance value, the fuse is working well. But if the reading is higher than the resistance, it means the fuse is not working well.

How do I change a fuse?

Find the fuse box in the car and locate the broken fuse. Take it out and replace it with the new one. Remember that your ignition should be turned off before you change your fuse and turn on the ignition when you’re done.
