A: It did not work for us on a clogged kitchen sink, even overnight. It was “guaranteed to work” on the label. I contacted company and they never refunded my money. I used it the day that I bought it, and scanned and sent in receipt. That was many months ago.

Q: Can I use this to process waste oil? Is this lye; sodium hydroxide?

A: If by processing, you mean you want pure sodium hydroxide ie lye, this is not pure lye. Check the SDS on it.... there's sodium nitrate and several other things.
