Not worth the money

I bought this rod for my daughter. Definitely even on sale it is over priced. After reading the description and some of the better reviews I went and purchased it. Lo and behold. It’s is poor quality. The reel is rough. The drag is scratchy and not smooth. When reeling. The line does not spool correctly leaving line loose. It is the first rod I have decided on returning. The abu Garcia packages go on sale and are always much better. I don’t recommend this rod unless it’s a spare in the garage for kids fishing off the dock on the odd weekend.
