I bought this knife for work over a year ago and I thought nothing of it but its a good knife, Good for black bears, Deer, Caribou not much for Bison the hide is to thick on the fully grown ones. Buy 2 u wont be disappointed I used knives that were four times the price as well and even more expensive.

Just bought this knife tonight and I cannot believe the quality. It has great weight and is extremely sharp. This is a knife I can use around the property for cutting back brush close to the fence lines and in the kitchen for slicing vegetables and meat! I love it!

A: I field dressed and skinned / butchered a deer with mine. Didn't need to sharpen it at all during the process. A little big for getting in around the joints but great for cutting through the ribs / pelvis. The black coating was flaking off pretty much as soon as I took it out of the package, but I didn't buy it for it's looks. It was cheap and sharp. Well worth the sale price I paid but I wouldn't pay full price.
