Designed for strength and works well for scraping and shoveling snow, but also heavier

The thick polycarbonate is strong, and the scoop is a good shape and size for scraping and shoveling. Snow does not stick to the polycarbonate. The nylon on the scraper edge moves smoothly and quietly on concrete sidewalks. Steel shaft of the handle is also designed for strength, and balances the heavy polycarbonate scoop on the end, but together make for a noticeably heavier shovel than most. I changed the steel shaft on mine with the wooden shaft and handle from a cracked plastic shovel, and prefer the lighter weight of my new frankenshovel.

How much fun is it to shovel snow? Seriously - do you anxiously await the regular updates on the weather channel hoping for snow? Do you hope for the nice fluffy stuff so that it sheds all of its white glory onto your sidewalk and driveway? If your that person - then look no further for this gem of a snow shovel - it will make you wish you had this thing handed to you at birth with the sole purpose in life to shovel snow! Strong build quality! Easy to scoop up snow and fling it in your neighbors yard! People stop and say “dang - that’s a beautiful shovel”! I love it! Would not hesitate to recommend.

Strong but heavy

Seems to be a good strong blade shovel, but it is noticeably heavier than the conventional plastic blade shovel, and the lack of an ergonomic handle could lead to a sore back.
