I am really impressed with this little powerhouse grass edger! I have always used a shovel or a weed wacker before and this was my first time using this. Soooo much better than both of those!!!!

A: Hello Shane! Thank you for your question. The Yardwork's 12A Electric Edger does not run off a battery. This lawn edger is electric. An extension cord is needed for use. -DestyneeE

Q: There is black plastic tubing covering the wires in both places where the shaft bolts go in. There is a yellow tag attached to the top that says “remove the pipe before assembly”. Does this mean you supposed to remove the plastic tube in both places?

A: The blades on the trencher will typically last one season. You should call customer service for replacements. We would replace with WORX blades WA0034.

Q: How do you remove the cutting shield (blue) for storage

A: This is not a part typically recommended to be removed for storage, as it would not significantly impact the size of the tool. The best way to store this product would be to knock down the shaft by unscrewing the knobs and then pulling the pins. Then pulling the shaft apart carefully and folding the shaft neatly.
