NO PLASTIC PARTS! This unit is designed to last. All metal construction which means no breaking brittle plastic bits and fading colour in the sun. the bearings and handle are nicely weighted and once the reel is mounted on your wall there is no binding or fighting against the unit, it just rolls up the hose with ease!

Q: How do you mount to a wall? I can't take it apart to fit my drill in to screw it to the wall!

A: You could use longer bit to reach into the corner holes. However I would suggest finding lag screws with washers that would be fit the holes more appropriately. Lag screws can be tightened with a socket and I’m sure you can fit a socket no problem.

Q: We have an older version of this and the 90 degree connector has corroded and is leaking. Is a replacement available?

Q: Will the reel accommodate 200' of 5/8" hose? Specs are a little vague.

A: I think not. I have 100 feet of hose & it's about 3/4 full. It may be able to accommodate 150 feet. The frame is heavy enough & strong enough for quality hose. I have 2 of them.

Q: This is a question about the Yardworks metal hose reel. Mine does not look like the picture. The mounting holes are inside behind the reel. Does the reel come off so a screwdriver can fit? I’ve struggled for over an hour trying to attach it.i can’t find

A: I posted the question and figured it out on my own today. I needed to unscrew the left side to remove the reel then mounting it was much easier.

Q: What size of lock washers, washers, masonry screws and anchor screws & sleeves are required for assembly? Ridiculous that these items are not included!!! We planned to assembler today and hardware not included.
