Don’t expect it to repel water

This cover would do to keep dust away when storing in the shed, but if you plan on storing this under partial cover outside in the back of the house or shed then you will be very disappointed when after a few mm of rain, you pull off the cover to see that there’s as much water droplets on the generator than on the cover itself. I will give it kudos for being able to fit a 5500W generator (it might fit a larger one) and the cover does have an attached pouch to stuff it when you want to use the generator.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Thanks for your review, but we are sorry to learn of your experience. To discover that moisture was present must have been very disappointing. The generator cover is made with a water resistant fabric that will hinder the penetration of water. To make the cover waterproof all seams would need to have taped seam construction, and this cover does not have that feature. You can expect the cover to protect your generator, but if moderate to heavy rain is expected you may need to store the generator away from the elements.
