Hello RC backyard guy - We are glad to hear you are enjoying the Blower. To extend your run time, try using it on a lower speed when high speed is not a requirement. This unit features 3-speed settings and up to 10 minutes of run-time on high however, the run time can be extended by using it at a lower speed. Alternatively, additional batteries can be purchased to extend the run time. This unit is compatible with all 40V Greenworks batteries. The higher the ampere-hour (AH) rating is, the longer the run time will be.

We're concerned to learn that you had a less than great experience with this leaf blower. Before powering the unit, please be sure that the battery is fully charged. The battery is not shipped fully charged and it is recommended to fully charge it before first use to ensure that maximum run time can be achieved. When engaging the battery, this can sometimes require a firm push. Check to ensure the latches are tightly secured in place on the back of the blower and the battery. Before returning, please call Yardworks customer service at 1-866-523-5218 and one of their representatives can assist in resolving your concerns.

Powerful and light

This blower is quite powerful for the weight. It's rather light to handle and very easy to use. The CFM rating is good enough for me to clear the deck of debris, remove dusting of snow on the front porch and blow away wet leaves from the flower beds. It is excellent to blow away grass clippings or lawn fertilizer granules from the pathways around the house. Never owned a leaf blower before, but now I'm finding lots of uses for it.
The noise is no higher than a standard vacuum cleaner and it comes on at full force almost instantaneous (no waiting). The battery will give you about an hour so this is not for large yards or long jobs, but it is plenty for me. I give it 4 stars due to the lack of attachments. You only get the main blower tube.
Yes, I recommend this product.
