Reliable, powerful, Previous Unit Lasted 8 years

I bought the earlier version of this unit about 8 years ago.Only difference was that it was a 3.8 A motor and it did not have a paddled grip. It worked really well for about years. Cut throught my many hedges and shrubs without any issue. So, I bought this unit. It is every bit as good - hope it lasts as long as the previous unit.

Poor power conection.

The electrical plug on the trimmer will not plug into a standard 3 prong outlet. Had to return it to the store for refund.

A: The Cord on the Hedge trimmer is approximately 1 foot in length and will require the use of an outdoor extension cord. Approved lengths and gauges are: 25’ in length should be 18 gauges 50’ in length should be 16 gauges 100’ in length should be 16 gauges 150’ in length should be 12 gauges

A: The yardworks pole for the polesaw is not compatible with any other product. The Hedge trimmer is not designed to be used with a pole.
