Do not buy Yardworks

Product 2 years old and not run smoothly after a few months use. Neither Yardworks no Briggs and Stratton want to acknowledge the miserable performance. Definitely not recommend this lawnmower and would think twice before getting any Briggs and Stratton engine

I was only able to use for 3-4 months. Will not recommend to others and I’m glad this model has been discontinued (at least by CT)

Worst mower ever

This mower has never started on the first pull or 20th. Do not buy!! If you can get it started it runs for a bit then shuts off. And yes I checked the fuel and oil. Brand new last year. Tried this year to start. There is no choke. Says it will self choke.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: can you adjust the speed, i find it very fast

  • A: No you can't. That may be its main drawback. I do slow it down sometimes by just pushing down on the handle bar so the driving wheels don't quite have the usual grip.

Q: I bought this lawnmower 2 days ago, # 1060-1332-0. I noticed that the oil tank is empty. Can I use synthetic oil 5w-30 or regular oil? It is a new machine, I read in the manual "Just check and Add" has it oil already or fill up with 15 ml. Please advise.

Q: Mine has only one speed and I'm not talking about the self-propelled speed. I'm talking about the engine. It starts, it runs...at one speed. Where's the throttle control.

2 Answers
  • A: Thanks. Quick follow-up. When I say one speed, it's barely above idle. It's the engine speed that sounds like it's just about to die. Is it really supposed to be that slow, or should I try to figure out how to adjust the governor.

Q: what type of oil do you need?

  • A: According to the booklet, 30 weight, but the label on the mower itself says 10w30. Can't imagine it makes much difference.
