The Yardworks 224cc 2-Stage Snowblower with Power Steering, 24-in, powers through heavy, wet snow with its 224cc OHV Champion engine and dual-trigger power steering. The overhead valve design provides cold start capability, while power steering allows effortless tight turns. Heated hand grips, LED lights and 15-inch tires ensure comfort and visibility. Its extra-tall steel chute resists denting and aims snow where desired. With a 24-inch clearing width, 12-inch impeller, and augers, it devours snow quickly. Six forward and two reverse speeds adapt to conditions. Space-saving foldable handles provide compact storage. Great in loose fluffy snow, that’s it.

Bought this at the end of 2023, first snowfall wet and heavy, the engine struggled to make it through 10cm of snow, had to go extremely slow so the engine wouldn’t stall, next couple of snow falls very light and fluffy about 15-30cm of snow did a great job and throws that snow high and far. This season (2024-25) 2 snowfalls wet and heavy, engine barely makes it through again, very disappointed with the performance. With climate change I can only hope that we get lighter snowfalls so this machine doesn’t die on me, $1400 is a lot of money for something that gives you such a hard time on anything but perfect fluffy snow

Avoid This Product!

I purchased this snowblower in 2023 for over $1,500, and it has been nothing but a headache. From day one, it hasn’t worked as expected. Dealing with customer service was a nightmare—every call had wait times exceeding an hour, and no one seemed to have a solution.
Eventually, I had to pay an additional $200 to send it to the only licensed repair shop in Ottawa, located in Orleans (about 10 km from me). While they fixed it, here I am after our first snowfall of the season, and the snowblower won’t start again.
Extremely disappointed with the product’s quality and the lack of proper support. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Bruit de glissement

Je viens d'acheter la souffleuse et il ya un bruit de glissement des que tu appuies sur la poignée de gauche, la vise a neige Canadian Tire et YardWorks me disent que c'est normal mais c'est clairement la courroie qui glisse ça dur deux a 3 secondes max mais c'est totalement gossant avez vous le même problème car ils ont démarré une autre qui avait le même bruit pourtant c'est pas ma première YardWorks mais la seule qui fait un bruit de la sorte?

Easy assembly and works through deep snow.

I purchased this today (March 3 2024). Assembly took about 30 minutes by myself. We recieved about 30cm of snow in Saskatoon overnight, plus it drifted in our driveway and walkway. This machine cleared it without an issue.

A: Hello P_Man, thank you for reaching out today. Yes, there is a freewheel option when moving the unit in and out of storage. By following the steps below this will help you safely move your unit in and out of storage. 1. Engage the self-drive control lever (A) to move the machine forward. (Fig. 29) 2. Pull up on the left trigger (B), to turn left. 3. Release the left trigger, to continue straight. 4. Pull up on the right trigger (C), to turn right. 5. Release the right trigger, to continue straight. Please reference your owner's manual pages 41-42 for photo diagrams. - Thank you Tatiana
