Runs like garbage. Also, if you expect any future support or parts, don't buy this! Canadian Tire are useless as a dealer, and can't even get the spark plugs for this unit. I need an air filter and new side discharge, and Canadian Tire basically told me I'm on my own. Save yourself the headache, and buy a real mower.

great lawn mower - needed a small, easy to use mower, and this was it. Single person, able to read instructions and handle it by myself. Happened to get it on sale, which was a plus

A: Thank you for your question. Run the mower for one minute to warm the oil and get contaminants into suspension. Turn off the engine, remove the spark plug wire, tip the mower with air filter pointing toward the sky and drain the oil out through the fill tube into a suitable container for disposal. Then return the mower to upright and refill the engine with new SAE10W30 oil.

A: Lawn mowers are not rated by HP anymore, if you really do need that information, you will have to contact the manufacturer because the literature sent out to retailers won't have the HP stats.
