Lost a 75. year old maple tree in the windstorm yesterday, same age as me I was going to rent a chainsaw but when I added up the cost of renting a gas saw - I hate them, they are hard to start, noisy smelly and heavy - and found I could buy a 16” electric saw for the same money I decided to give it a try based on the positive reviews. I found it light & easy to use, trimming branches on the fallen tree was a breeze, eventually worked my way down to the stump cutting ever larger sections, the last ones were well over two feet in diameter. WOW

I bought one of these after growing frustrated with a new gas chainsaw I bought somewhere else. This model is great for use around the house and for my use as a hobby woodturner. Plenty of power, easy to use, always ready when I am. I love it and concur with others who have reviewed.

Great Value for the Money

We bought this chainsaw to use to cut wood for our fireplace. Like the other reviews I am very pleased. I have used this for ash and maple up to 12 inches in diameter. I don't have a lot of experience with chain saws, but this seems solid, well built durable and I got it for a great price. It does seem to go through a lot of oil, but the oil is easy to add.
