The lawnmower is great. Easy start and love the way it cuts the grass. My only beef was waiting a month for my order. Don't know why but i got it.

It takes a while to warm up. This mower needs to be primed. Upon starting, the mower seems to struggle to run with a pulsating sound. Once it’s going, it does its job. It uses a lot of oil… 20 fluid oz. but it does have an oil drain plug.

One Happy Mower

Mower runs great. Does a great job at bagging, lots of suction. Runs a little loud. Make sure to pull handle bar out fully when assembling out of the box as it is shipped with part of the handle bar stowed into the deck.

Q: Does the gas has to be mixed for this mower?

A: Thank you for your question. The modern overhead valve engine on this mower uses straight gasoline 87 octane or higher. Since all grades available in Canada now have ethanol blended in, it is recommended to always add a quality fuel stabilizer such as Sta-Bil or Star-Tron to your gas container before filling it to ensure easy reliable starting.

A: Hello Sabrina. Please resubmit your question with both the factory model and serial number of your Yard Machine push mower. You can find these numbers located on the back of the blade housing, by the 2 rear wheels. The model number is 11 characters long and will start with 11 or 12. Thank you.

Q: I just bought this mower, it said to add oil, when I took the cap off there was already what I assume is oil in it that was filled to the top of the dipstick line, do I add more oil to it or am I suppose to drain out what’s in it ?

A: Thank you for reaching out. The mower engine may have residual manufacting oil in from the factory, if it was transported unlevel this may register on the dipstick. Double check the level and add only up to the full indicator before operating, do not overfill. Change the 10W30 engine oil after the first five hours of operation, then every season thereafter. See the engine owner's manual for details.
