Poor Quality

I bought the 50 ft hose over 2 years ago. At the end of the first year the interior liner of the hose broke into several small pieces. I took it back to Canadian tire however the hose was a few days past the 1 year warranty. Nothing could be done. I threw the hose away as I was not very happy with the product.

Would never buy anything from this brand again. Used twice in my underground parking garage to wash my car and now it's leaking from both ends so badly it's unusable. Complete waste of money.

A: Pour moi, c'est un excellent achat. Ça fait un an que je l'ai et en été je m'en sers à tous les jours. Évidemment, il faut suivre les instructions telles que demandées sur l'emballage. Ne jamais laisser le boyau rempli d'eau quand on le range et/ou le laissé rempli sans s'en servir pendant une longue période de temps (ex; toute un après-midi#. Ne pas l'utiliser avec de l'eau chaude #gaine intérieure pas fait pour cela) et éviter de le laisser au "gros soleil". En plus, j'essais d'éviter de le trainer sur les surfaces rugueuses comme l'asphalte. Tout cela à l'air compliqué, mais pour mon jardinage, je ne m'en passerait plus. Ultra léger, jamais de torsions ou de nœuds. Vraiment, c'est un achat merveilleux pour mon jardinage...

A: I pulled the hose out to it's full lenght on gravel and grass. Worked for a few minutes and the outer covering retracted and the inner tube swelled and exploded.

Q: When will the x-hose pro version be available in Canada? The fittings on the first version are very light duty, i am interested in the pro version which is made of more durable material and has brass fittings. The pro version seems to be only available in the US right now.

A: Not sure what the question is, but if you want it for cleaning you do get a restriction in flow due to the design of the product.

A: DaisysMom, I hope you did not waste your money on this product or any of the other expandable hoses. The only good thing about them is that they are light and easy to store. They are an absolute waste of money - brass fittings and all.

A: In my experience, the inside tube couldn't take the pressure of a back yard water supply after 6 uses. I wouldn' t trust it in CONSTANT pressure is situations.
