Convenient in tight spaces

I used this to get where a normal angle grinder couldn't (inside the frame and bodywork panels of a car) and it worked okay. The motor is underpowered and if you stress the grinder even a little bit it shuts down and you have to restart it from the battery control. The on/off button on the tool is extremely useful.

A: Easy and inexpensive! Buy any grit size 2” Roloc flap disc and drill a 3/8” hole through the conveniently centered dimple. It takes only a minute. Lots of Roloc style discs and pads to choose from on line. Makes a great tool an even better deal!

Q: How much it it for the entire set of tools. Not individual. Because I am disabled and a stay at home person. So I wish to buy all tools at one time for a better price than to purchase individual.

Q: I can't find the blades that fit for this? Besides the Worx MakerX box - is there alternatives? I mainly use it for plastic, but was hoping to buy volume plastic bits and a bit of metal blades

A: Hello There, Thank you for your question. The blade size is 1 1/2" (38mm) and the arbor size is 3/8" (9.5mm) (only for 2" blade) These blades can be found by searching WA7212 or at your local hardware store. Thank you for choosing WORX!

Q: What's the maximum depth the cutting wheel could make? Also, how close to a wall could a cut be made? (Our project involves removing old hardwood flooring.)

A: Hello there! Thank you for your question. The max cutting depth of WX741L is 8~10mm. This particular angle grinder is for crafting and probably wouldn’t be the best choice for a home project. We could recommend WX812L instead from an angle grinder perspective but we could also recommend some of our saws as a better option for that particular project.

A: Hi Brad N, the WORX MAKERX 20V 2-in Angle Grinder, Tool Only is battery operated. However, the battery, charger, and hub are sold separately. The Hub transfers power from the 20V battery to the tool, via the flexible power cord. The Hub controls RPM on tools with variable speed and acts as the On/Off switch for all the tools. The power cord reaches four feet from the Hub. Any 20V Power Share battery will connect to the Hub to power the MAKERX series of tools.
