A: Hi Chabi! The VersaCut is the perfect saw for cutting wood, flooring, plastic, tile slate, and even sheet metal so long as you are using the appropriate blade. This mini circular saw can use any 3-3/8" blade with a 19/32" arbor. With a max cutting depth is 1 1/16". You can find the blade fit for your project at your local hardware store! Q: Does anybody have any input as to the battery life in the laser? After 4 brief uses over a couple days, the LR44H batteries have readings of .67 and 1.08 instead of 1.5. Did the laser eat them or did I get duds?

A: Our recommendation is to use a 3-3/8" Fine Tooth Blade to cut the tile board. Unfortunately, this type of blade does not come with the WORX Versacut 3-3/8" Compact Circular Saw with Laser Guide Technology (WX420L). You can purchase fine-tooth blades from your local hardware store or home improvement retailer.
