I was very surprised at the power and performance of this tool. I have the larger chain saw that I love. With the pruning tool, I can cut and entire tree into moveable piece.

Works great for 4” logs that fell on our roof after a severe storm! My Grandsons 14 and 15 years old helped me easily cut them up even had contest who could cut the most in a limited time!! Light weight they didn’t quit before job was finished! Slm

Q: Can I cut a 2 x 4 piece of lumber?

A: Hello There! Thank you for your question. While a 5-inch battery pruning saw can technically cut a 2x4, it is not the right tool for the job. It would be very slow, make a rough cut, and could damage the saw or pose a safety risk to you. We suggest using a circular saw or a standard handsaw is a much more efficient and safer for cutting dimensional lumber. Thank you for choosing Worx!

Q: Can you use longer chains and arms like a 12 inch arm instead of the 5 inch because the 5inch is just to short ???

A: Hello There! Thank you for your question. Worx does not recommend to use a different size blade and chain within the tool. The motor is only built for the 5" chain and anything higher like a 12" will burn out the motor and void the warranty. Thank you for choosing Worx!

Q: In an attempt to get around the WG325’s oiler issues (1. cap breakage, 2. oil leaking toward the handle), can I forgo using the auto oiler, and instead just manually add oil to the chain as is done with its younger sibling the WG324?
