Not enough battery

The 2ah battery doesn’t last long enough and doesn’t have enough power. After several cuts, the battery dies and you have to depress the switch and start over again only to stop again after a few seconds.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Good saw, weak pole

Good saw. Does a good job, but you must be very careful to not overtax the extension pole. It has a weakness where it folds. The connections are all plastic and too much flex will cause it to break.

The chainsaw itself works great. Is fairly quiet and cuts through an 8" tree trunk easily. Was very surprised how long the 2.0AH battery lasted. While the saw is fairly light it doesn't seem like that when dangling at the end of a 10' pole . All in all a great tool.

Powerful Little Saw!

This is a powerful little saw. Pleasantly surprised at it's performance overall. Have cut through 5" to 6" trees with little to no binding. Obviously the battery does drain faster when doing cuts on larger trees and branches. But for normal use on limb, it's powerful. As some have said when the saw is on the pole it is very top heavy. Once you get used to it you realize this is an advantage because it helps cut through limbs easier. With a little practice you will be cutting every branch you can reach! And when detached from the pole, the saw works great on tree trunks.
One small issue I have noticed is the chain bar has loosened slightly but it doesn't seem to effect the operation. And the chain stays tight. Make sure you use enough chain oil! And if you don't have an extra battery, think about getting another.

A: The 20V Cordless Pole/Chain Saw can take any kind of bar and chain oil, which is available in most hardware stores or stores that sell chainsaws. The oil tank capacity will hold 4.5 ounces.

Q: I have used my pole/chain saw through 1 battery charge. I recharged the battery. It will not work with extension. Works fine on its own. There is nothing in the manual to help me troubleshoot. What can I do?
