Q: I have a WG165trimmer and a WG155 trimmer. The battery for the 165 is 3524.2 ,the battery for the155 is 3524.1. They will not hold a charge,can I purchase new batteries ?

Q: How does this trimmer handle St. Augustine grass? We moved to FL and did not bring much lawn equipment with us because HOA was to handle. After two years we find that we need to handle some yard work ourselves. Thank you.
3 years agoA: Yes. I also have St. Augustine grass in my front lawn & it does a great job. The many adjustments form length of the shaft to the angle of the head/base you can take on a variety of obstacles. Also using the wheels allows you to cut @ a consistant height w/o cutting the r"runner" of the St.Augustine grass.

Q: I had a previous model trimmer that worked very well except the string broke too easily. I believe the diameter was .08. I see now that the diameter is even less now, .065. As a result, I am reluctant to purchase a new trimmer. Why the change?
5 years agoA: I bought performance commercial line from amazon! bought a one lb bulk spool of anleolife square trimmer line. Much noisier but cuts better! You want a co polimer line and then soak it in a zip lock baggy! The line gets brittle and lasts longer when soaked in water! Much like fishing line works and spools better when wet

Q: I purchased a trimmer many years ago and was quite pleased in it's action Then I received FREE spools that constantly jam in their holder. It is possible to purchase original spools that may have been plastic coated wire I recall never jammed?

Q: Hello, we have the cordless weedeater, which works good, however, are having a problem w/line feed, is not working. We have to remove the cap cover & manually pull the line as the auto line feed is not working, nor does bumping it on the ground. Any tips?

Q: I have a WG170.3 that is worn out. I have two good 4.0 Ah batteries. When I click the “tool only” the WG170.3 lists itself as a WG170.9. Are these both the same trimmers? Since I have 2 batteries already, I really don’t need a 3rd one.
