Review based on a friend using it recently on a fishing trip (I was there, though).
It rained on this bag for the better part of a day, and all items inside were still dry. It's quite large also, as it held a very, very thick big sleeping bag and a few other items. If using a more 'regular' size sleeping bag, there would still be room for a pillow and some clothes.
I have since purchased one myself (haven't used it yet), so it goes without saying that I would recommend this item.
