Works well, but needs more durability.

Bought this to replace my old Coleman one that had its tank hook up collar finally break. The biggest point of weakness is the collar that attaches to the tank. The plastic always seems flimsy, and can break easily through repeated use or over torquing. The woods seems a bit sturdier and the adjustments to help stabilize the system is two screws instead of the old one screw system. And it also would have been nice for this to come with a carrying bag like the Coleman had. We’ll see how it goes long term, but so far so good.

Really nice upgrade from the endless green tanks of fuel for our outdoor appliances. It does what it's supposed to do. Unfortunately this particular unit does not have a good method for keeping the tree sturdy on top of the propane tank. It has two small winged bolts on a flimsy bracket that are supposed to brace the weight of the tree. We just had an incident where a friend attempted to move the propane tank and the whole thing toppled over, the lantern we had on top of the tree is no longer functional. Disappointing

I bought one of these years ago. More than paid for by being able to use a 20 lb tank instead of all those little 1lb tanks. I could run two cooking appliances and then later have a lantern on a stable base. The vendor needs to have a photo showing the tree mounted on a tank with a lantern and a couple of hoses. CTC needs to provide links for those items on this page.

A: The other outlets would not work anyway unless there is something threaded into them they have an automatic shut off when not in use.

A: Yes, you can use it with as many items hooked up as you want. Won’t leak from spots that aren’t being used.
