A: No. The seat collapses down and the arms close up sort of like a book, they still take up quite a bit of space folded up. They don’t fold up in a cylinder type shape like most camping chairs. They are very sturdy and comfy though, and the attached side table is handy

Q: I have arthritis in my fingers and opening this chair was extremely painful. Can anyone tell me how to fold it please?

A: I also have arthritis and found the chair extremely hard to open and fold. I emailed Woods and got a reply, but it wasn’t quite complete. Here is what I do. I keep a copy of these instructions in a zip loc bag in the mesh pocket of my chair! TO UNFOLD: Lift into normal seating position, then push down on both arms, while using your knee to push down on the seat. STRONG SNAP! Be careful. TO FOLD: Fold the table down and flip chair onto its Right side (table). Push down on the Left side bar and step on the Right (bottom) bar. It will fold down. Watch your fingers!
