Vestibule catches rain.

The portion of footprint in the vestibule is too big and will catch rain coming off the fly. Fold back the vestibule part and it’s ok. Other than that it’s perfect.

This was the worst footprint I’ve ever encountered. With over 20 years of camping experience I’ve never had so many issues with my products. This footprint fits perfectly to our woods tent and is suppose to help protect the bottom of the tent from sharp objects and water. It does work for sharp rocks if there are any under (always check before set up) but it’s wet. It’s always wet. When it rains it traps a whole lake under the tent. It literally looks like a water bed. When there is no rain and dew from the night it’s wet. Our tent is always wet from the mat and it seeps into the floor making our bedding and pillows wet. It’s not worth the purchase. A dollar store tarp works better at keeping the moisture and water out. Very dissatisfied and disappointed.

I Prefer Them Thicker

After purchasing the tent (that already had thin flooring) there was no question but to improve the chances of avoiding tears with this additional purchase. Had I not set it up at home prior to my family's trip, I may have been in for an unpleasant experience after noticing the questionably thin flooring over my grass lawn. I used it on a very sandy campsite for the first time afterwards, but doubt it's fortitude may hold up on a more typically hard, rooty, rocky surface
I would recommend a 8×14 tarp as well to be safe from tearing the footprint and tent flooring in that situation. I do not understand why the same 210-tex 68-denier material used in the tent walls and tent fly would be used for the tent's flooring with out an additonal layer of resistant material. To reduce weight would be my benefit-of-the-doubt assumption, but figure it's more about expenses as it is clearly not a tent for backpacking.
If the footprint was already provided (which it should've been) with the purchase, I would have understood the combination and appreciated paying the extra bit for is honestly a great tent, overall. Instead, I'm wondering why Woods would even manufacture a tent with obvious tear-potential in such a critical area of the tent itself. Lastly, why would Woods offer a footprint with material (sold after purchasing a tent with questionable tear-resistance in the first place) that just seems to be the same 210-tex 68-denier material, instead of something more rugged?
Not sure. Either way, this is an excellent tent (GET THIS FOOTPRINT if you bought it), despite the questionably thin flooring.
