Nice tent but rain fly pole broke

Bought this tent in 2022 because it looked well built and I was concerned with getting something waterproof with a full length rain fly. I was super happy with the tent though the packed tent is quite large and heavy and somewhat difficult for one person to set up. After some wind one trip, the poles began to bend and shortly after the rain fly pole snapped. The replacement cost of poles is not worthwhile considering that the main tent poles are also starting to bend and I'm expecting them to eventually break as well. Other than the weak poles, this is a great tent but it seems to have a limited lifespan and therefore I would not buy it again.

Not Happy with Woods Lookout 6-Person Tent

I bought the Woods Lookout 6-Person Tent a few weeks ago. I am disappointed with this tent. I find that the oversized fly is very difficult to dry out after a camping trip. In fact, I couldn't let it dry out on the ground in the sun because it would attract and retain more moisture. I had to hang it on a line to dry it out. In addition, the fly completely covers the tent, including the windows, so you can only see out through the vestibule openings. Also, the tent doors are too big, which will allow more bugs to enter the tent. I've had Woods tents that I have liked before, but not this one.

I don’t know what people are talking about. These are very thick and durable poles. The entire tent quality is above my expectations. I normally have MEC tents and the expensive ones at that. This is very comparable at 1/4 the price. Very impressed overall.
