Slide closure breaks

I bought this cup and within one week the small plastic tabs that keep the slide closure connected to the lid broke. They broke while simply trying to wash the lid. Exchanged for new one, same thing. However, the cup is nicely insulated and keeps drinks cold/hot. 5 stars for insulation and cup design, 1 star for the lid.
