    Does great coverage

If anyone's curious how much one of these 300g cans can cover, I've done the following clothing articles [All sizes in men's]: 2 pairs of suede boots [Size 12 and 10] → each pair got 2 heavy coatings each. 1 Military offshore parka [size 2xl] → 2 heavy coatings 1 winter coat [size xl] → 1 coating Clearly the wide-spread nozzle is doing it's job; So a single can just do about 2 pairs of boots and 2 coats in heavy coatings. What we like is how this is how this doesn't smell terrible like other brands. And how it doesn't stain lightbrown suede boots, despite giving them some rather heavy coatings each. The only other can we were impressed by in Canadian tire was their nano-spray, but it would appear that they no longer sell them.

Q: Hi there, I am planning on using this spray for a sea doo cover. My question is can I apply it with the cover on the sea doo or should it be off of it. Thanks

    1 Answer
    • A: Hey there, I would say it depends on the thickness of the cover. If it’s really light, I’d recommend removing it. Although, if the stiffness is similar to a BBQ cover, you can keep it on. You should only apply a thin coat at the time on the cover. It shouldn’t go through. Cheers !

Q: I have a Woods Big Cedar 4 tent and the tent floor has lost it's waterproofing coating. Can this be used to restore the polyurethane waterproof coating of the tent's floor? Or is this primarily used on the rainfly?

    1 Answer
    • A: Thank you for the inquiry. This product is generally used to offer additional water repellency to canvas and other fabric based materials to the outer surface. It would not be able to restore the actual polyurethane waterproof coating of a tent's floor.

Q: Can I use this spray for my car side mirrors to repel water when it's raining? Will my mirrors remain clear after spraying this?

    1 Answer
    • A: Thank you for your inquiry. This product is designed for fabrics not hard surfaces. It has not been tested on hard surfaces such as mirrors, including for the application you are referring too. We would assume is might offer some limited functionality, but may also affect visibility, and depending on the mirror material, possibly damage the mirror. We would not recommend it for this use.

Q: I'm looking for a spray to waterproof foam core board? What do you recommend? This guy did a test with Valspar Clear sealer, but I can't find a local supplier

    1 Answer
    • A: Thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately we are not able to suggest how to best waterproof foam core board. You would need to see if the manufacturer has any suggestions or directions. The Woods Waterproofing sprays are design for fabric materials. As they are solvent-based, they could damage the foam. As well, we have never tested if they would work well in waterproofing this type of material. Sorry we were not able to better assist.

Q: How much coverage can I expect from one can? I need to cover a 10x10 canopy.

    1 Answer
    • A: Thank you for your inquiry. Based on how much you spray, you should get two applications based on 100 sq. ft. Depending on how porous the material is, you may wish to apply one application and let it dry. Then apply a second. Then based on use and how often the canopy is used, moved or folded, reapply in the future as necessary.

Q: Can I use this on a down jacket?

    1 Answer
    • A: Thank you for the inquiry. Please check with the manufacturer's guide for the care, cleaning and treatment of the jacket. Some jackets may already be pre-treated so they may have specific instructions. Otherwise, first test on a small, inconspicuous area to see how it works and protects. If you are happy with the test, then treat the jacket in a very well ventilated area, outside if possible. Allow then to dry. Please see directions on can. Re-apply as necessary based on the amount of use.
