I purchased this item to take with me to Portugal after experiencing a foot injury 2 days before leaving. It broke before I even left the airport. The main hand grip snapped off. I discarded it before getting on the plane! No stick to return and I can’t find the receipt.

Q: How do you attach the camera attachment. It has a screw thread but the pole has no matching screw.

Q: How much weight can you load this pole before the telescopic mechanism slides / breaks? Was thinking of trying to replace a broken table leg on my camping table. If it supports a burly person hiking, perhaps this would work?
