I haven’t had a chance to use it for camping yet but I blew up and it seems quite durable. Easy to fold up for packing away but hard to get back in the storage bag.

Self inflating mattress is not self inflating.

Labelled as a self inflating mattress, but does not self inflate, and even the instructions say to blow into it to complete the setup. There is no way to hygienically inflate this mattress.

Q: Has anyone used this as a floating mattress for the lake ? It came up on my choices when I typed floating foam mat .

A: This would not be a good floating mattress. It will sink as soon as there is weight on it. It is meant for the tent.

Q: Hy Canadian Tire. Is this pad okay for camping with temperatures about 0 degrees celsius in combination with a 0 degrees comfortable sleeping bag?

A: - Our Woods Instalite camp pad would provide some ground warmth, but I would suggest if weight isn't a major issue, go with a Woods base or camp rest self inflating pad. These thicker options will maximize your warmth. In 2019, we are introducing a 2" shaped Instalite SI and a down filled camp pad. Happy camping.
