Excellent Tent for price.

I love this tent. Have used it for more than 60 nights now. Very easy to set up, good design with two doors and vestibules, good ventilation, has kept me dry in heavy rain.
I foolishly failed to tie it down well in the desert in Nevada - it tumbled through 50 feet of stiff dry sagebrush in a heavy wind storm, but suffered no damage!
I think it compares very favourably with name brand tents that cost twice as much.
I use this 2 person model as a roomy solo tent. If you are going to be camping a lot with a partner, I would suggest going with the 3 person model of this tent. You can squeeze two people into this model, but it doesn't leave much room for gear, and the vestibules, though great for shoes, rain gear, etc..., are not an ideal place for all your clothes and other gear.

Effective little tent, kept everything dry

Simple to set up, and take down. The fly worked well and kept everything dry. The vestibules were a nice size to keep a number of things out of the weather. I bought to have a smaller tent and it fit the bill. I am 6'2" and it fit me well for solo camping, but I was basically touching both ends and getting changed was a challenge.

Q: Is there a trick to getting the top bar of the tent in place properly? It holds the fly. I have found that it seems too long and is difficult to fit into the designated holes. Advice, please!

A: You just have to let the pole flex as you insert it into its two slots. Most importantly, do NOT attach the central velcro tie for the pole until after the pole is in place in its two slots.

Q: Il me semble que le poids devrait être revisé car il semble bien trop lourd dans les spécs. La "Cascade 3" indique 7 lbs et 1 oz sur le sac de transport. Ne connaissant pas le poids de celle-ci (la 2 places) fait en sorte que j'hésite avant de commander.

A: The Woods Cascade series is a 3 season tent, but it it very much depends on your cold tolerance. The interior is mesh, so there will be a cool draft from under the fly in colder weather.

Q: Commonly tents say fits 3-4 people and it's perfect for 2. My travel partner is 6 foot 5 would this fit both of us plus gear and whatnot comfortably? Looking for a comfortable tent for backpacking and camping.

A: the floor size is 200*130cm, so if one person space 65cm, then it can only allow two person inside. for a man 6 foot 5, it would be just fine to get into it, the whole length is 200cm, still 5cm space left.
