This sleeping bag is basically a studio apartment. I’m 5’4", and when I crawl in, it’s less of a snug cocoon and more of a solo camping duplex. I could invite another me and a Labrador to crash in here, no problem. Sounds luxurious, until you realize all that extra space turns into cold air pockets that gently whisper, “You should’ve brought a liner.” It looks like it should handle -15°C. In reality, I got chilly around 3°C, even with a blanket tossed on top like a sad, desperate garnish. The inside lining is super soft and cozy, the outside is rugged and well-made, but this bag doesn’t trap heat unless you're roughly the size of a grizzly bear. And if you’re not? Prepare to put on some down booties and a hoodie. Also forget about trying to packing it down. This thing rolls up to the size of a medium duffel full. It’s a great car camping option, but not something you’ll want to haul farther than the backseat. Still, for the right person (or two), it’s a comfy log cabin of a bag. Just bring a liner for the cold nights... and maybe a roommate.
