This Woods Pop-Up Hanging Mosquito Net offers essential protection from mosquitos, flies, wasps and other insects. Made of a lightweight polyester mesh material, this 7'10" net has a circumference of 26'3" and fits two sleeping bags for your comfort and convenience. It can be easily attached from a single point. Sold as a camping item but the mesh fabric feels very vulnerable to tears, and trying to sit under it, one drowns in fabric everywhere.

Q: What is the metal hoop made of? Will it rust?

A: I have my 2 nets hanging off both ends of my RV's awnings with carabiner clips through the key ring at the top. The material of the roof circle extends to wrap around the bendy hoops so I can't see what the hoop is made of, but there are no rust marks on the rim material. Mine hang outside as long as there's no snow.

A: Haha ! Yes, if you overlap the entrance. With its 26' circumference base, I use one to circle the picnic table & one for the hammock with a bull clip to hold it shut from inside. It isn't able to keep those dang squirrels out though.

A: This is intended to be stationary. Dragging on the ground from swinging may cause it to tear.

Q: Does this model have a bottom or a zipper? Does the netting come to a stop and you drape it on the ground or does the net come to a seam with a bottom tarp and if so how do you get in? With a zipper? Thanks for your help.

Q: Can you tell me how much holes there is per square inch ? The World Health Organization recommends 200 holes per sq inch for mosquitoes and I'm going into pretty extreme "insect condition". Thanks you very much from a backpacker.

Q: It was previously stated that the net is not pre-treated with Permethrin or other potentially harmful chemical. Yet, opening the package and unfolding the net releases an overwhelming chemical smell. What's the cause and does it pose a health hazard?
