Q: I have wide calves; what is the shaft circumference for size 9?

A: Math is not my forte, but I can say that it's 6in from front to back and 3in from side to side measuring the open top part on a size 8 boot. My calves are also a bit wide but my feet are not, so this has always been a challenge. I can wear these boots with leggings on, it's snug but I can get them on. If you prefer a little room in the calf then you might find this boot tight.

A: This is a tough question everyone likes a fit slightly different. 24CM lies right on the middle between 8 & 9, I would chose the 9 better to be a little bigger because too small is never any good.
