These are the benchmark for forster slugs. They are easy to find, fast, consistent in ballistics & discharge reliably. As they are powered up, they hit the shooter with recoil that is noticeably more than the bird loads but they leave the barrel before the boom rocks you.

Worth every dollar

Have never had a failure with this ammunition. It is fairly consistent as far as accuracy with a 12 gauge can get. The price point is almost as inexpensive as buying the cheaper low recoil load slugs in the large 100 round boxes. Unfortunately there is rarely stock available at the Canadian Tire I frequently shop at.

A: Yes. Rifled slugs are only to be used in a smooth bore shotgun with an appropriate choke.
