Threads Incorrect!

I purchased these for my utility trailer which is 100% 1/2-20 tpi. I used a bolt gauge and thread pitch gauge to double check even. This package only says 1/2", does not specify the thread pitch anywhere, but standard should be 20. I tried 2 nuts and they did not thread on properly and were beginning to flatten the stud threads if I forced them. It's for the better since I returned them and ended up using the old lug nuts from my truck saving me 25 bucks.
