CHEAP AND USELESS : Inconsistent performance

I was comp'd a set of these as the Maximum brand Torque Wrench failed out of the box and gave me zero torque indication and I over torqued a stud and snapped it; also over torquing the remaining studs stretching them. These looked cheap, felt cheap and ended up being very cheap when I tried to install them. They were shorter than OEM and the knurl section didn't match up well, despite being the same size on paper. I struggled with these using the impact gun method (with a hardened nut as a washer). The threads got shredded as the knurl was too big (Lordco Parts measured it with a digital gauge and it was off spec by a lot). I ended up just buying DORMAN OEM style replacements from Lordco, and they went in like butter. Took me 2 minutes to install all 6, rather than the hour struggling with the "white knights". SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME, BUY OEM REPLACEMENTS

I purchased wheel studs that were recommended for my vehicle and used one to replace a broken bolt. The stud was supposed to lock in place, but it kept rotating, making it impossible to remove the lug nut. I returned to the store and explained the issue to the service desk. They told me to leave my vehicle and wait two days for repairs. I explained that the defective stud caused the problem—the tire couldn’t be installed because the lug nut was stuck on the rotating stud. As a result, my car was missing a tire and couldn’t be left at Canadian Tire. I asked to speak to the manager, but the employee said he wasn’t available. I then asked if a mechanic could help remove the stuck lug nut, but the mechanic who came out was impatient and went back into the shop after just 15 seconds. As a Triangle World Elite customer, I expected better service. Unfortunately, Canadian Tire failed to assist me, forcing me to seek help at another repair shop.
