This clock does the job. Pros: large bright LED. Fairly easy to set up and the snooze button is easy to find when alarm awakens you. Loud enough to let you know it's time to get up. 8 minute snooze increments until you cycle the alarm set button. Small and light and stable on the night stand. Supports backup battery. Has a flashing light to show that snooze is still set. Cons: The LED is very bright with no dim switch. No power source just a USB cable, you will need a USB power source as a plug in. The snooze button is on the flimsy side so not good for grumpy snooze button smackers. The snooze on/off switch is not at all friendly, hard to manipulate without holding clock in two hands. The clock shuts off with power disconnected. If on sale, well, okay if you need a clock for the spare bedroom. Not practical as a travel piece.

Everything went as expected. Westclox has been making clocks since the beginning of time. There was no assembly required. It could be used without reading the instructions. Everything should be this user friendly.

Power cord snapped off when lightly bumped. Battery backup didn’t even work. Unfortunately threw away receipt figuring an alarm clock would last so no chance of returning it
