The nickel finish looks sleek and modern, and it instantly gave my front door a refreshed look. Installation was straightforward (took me under 30 minutes), and I love that it comes with the SmartKey security feature for extra peace of mind. The keypad is super responsive, and I like that I can program up to 25 user codes—perfect for family members, kids, or even trusted visitors. No more fumbling for keys! It also has a key backup just in case, which is reassuring. One feature I really appreciate is the auto-lock option—great for those times when I forget to lock the door behind me. The Weiser powerbolt is a great lock, versatile and easy to install. But the Auto-Lock feature (Locks after selected interval) does not work. Tried on two different Powerbolt units and still not able to activate this feature.

Good value and easy to install.

Amazingly simple to install. Some procedures/features a tad confusing. For example, a specific feature will only activate if deadbolt is in open or closed state but the steps never mention if deadbolt should be in open or closed state. The electronic strap that connects the keypad to the part inside should have a more securely bound path to keep it out of the way of the mechanics. Perhaps a tie strap? Otherwise I was impressed at the design of this deadbolt. It is a well thought and adaptable to many scenarios you might come across. Bonus: smart key system to re key to existing keys. Oh BTW the BILT app 3D tutorial is also amazing but it does mention a button that does not exist. The actual instructions put me straight as to what they meant. But still a great way to explain the install process. Bravo!
