Poor customer service

If you want to eat nonstick paint buy it. After about a year of use the nonstick coating started peeling. Almost looks like the rack is rusted under the coating...tried to get a new rack but the customer service is brutal, they can't figure out if the part they are selling you is correct, even if you provide them with every number on the air fryer and out of the manual. Worked very well until the peeling coating
No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: Purchased a Vida by Paderno Digital Air Fryer and the manual refers to a locking mechanism for removing the insert tray. What or where is it? The insert tray is quite difficult to remove. Is it supposed to be?

A: The insert tray can be pulled up, using those two holes in the middle. There are pads on the corners on the insert that grip the sides of the basket, which give it a tight fit, but that is easily overcome. You can push it back when when cleaned.

Q: Is it safe to use the air fryer with the little silicone/rubber pads that hold the tray in place? I wasn't sure if they were there just to hold it still while everything is packaged.

A: Yes, they are part of the design. We also use liners to help with cleaning. Do not put any part into a dishwasher

Q: Hey, anyone run into the issue where the fan doesn't run? I've turn it off, unplugged it, and only sometimes does it run. The hearing element always works, just having issues with the fan. Though one it gets going it runs fine
