Q: Can I put it into the dishwasher to wash?

A: Hello, As a Chef, I would not recommend dishwasher, nor soak in soapy water. It will crack when drying. you can use Kitchen Block Oil by Siege or olive oil and keep clean with a simple damp cloth. and then a dry rag. Re treat often as you would a Wok. Have Fun !

A: Warm, soapy water. Dry immediately. Rub with mineral oil occasionally.

Q: I just bought this and got a sliver. I sanded it lightly to try to get rid of any small ones but it doesn't feel very smooth. Is this normal? Is there a certain way to care for this cutting board?
