There are 2 versions. The older version is softer and finer and maybe discontinued.

I bought the last box containg the older version with softer and thinner "claws" for the purpose unrelated to what the product was designed to do. In my situation, yhe item was used to shim a round photographic metal grid into a photographic beauty dish and it worked. Any how, the revised product on the display is coarser and wouldn't have worked. It was just being at the display at the right time that the last older item was available.

Difficult to use

It is almost impossible to remove the plastic film backing on the tape. Extremely time consuming and difficult to remove. I won't use this frustrating product again.
